Product Description
The BK-HS32 is an advanced nucleic acid extraction system that uses established and reliable magnetic bead technology to extract nucleic acids from up to 32 samples per run. The instrument is fully automated (needs no external computer control) and is operated through a 260 mm intuitive and fast response touch screen and Windows operating system.
The unit has a processing volume from 20 µL - 1000 µL and extraction times can be set from 15 min - 60 min depending upon the reagents used.
The unit features a safety door which stops the protocol if it is opened mid-run. The protocol will restart when the door is closed. The unit also features a UV disinfection function and a Class II HEPA filter to prevent cross contamination.
The BK-HS32 features a number of other safety functions that include start-up self-checking, power-off protection, high temperature alarm, over-temperature protection and motor protection.
