Product Description

EVE™ PLUS uses state-of-the-art optics and image analysis for counting an extensive range of cell lines (please download a brochure from More Information below for a complete list). It can count both single cells and clumpy cells with accuracy and precision and the Eve™ PLUS counting algorithm allows counting of individual cells within cell clumps.

The EVE™ PLUS utilises Trypan Blue and Erythrosin B dyes that selectively stain dead and damaged cells blue or red while leaving live cells unstained. They work through a process called dye exclusion which relies on cell membrane integrity to differentiate viability. The unit features a cell size gating function and a <1s per sample counting time with manual focus and <10s per sample with auto focus for cells ranging in size from 5 µm - 60 µm.

Accessories

Disposable cell counting slides are used to load cell samples into the EVE™ PLUS for counting. Each slide provides two counts.
